Carved cakes

When ordering please remember to include

1) cake size (either tin size or how many slices you'd like, these can be found on the prices page)
2) cake flavour and filling flavour (these can be found on the prices page)
3) decoration please include as much detail as possible with photos of the birthday boy or girl or animal, I usually copy the photo I'm sent so please make sure it is how you'd like them to look, if it's a pet please make sure to include any signnificant markings, tail, etc.
4) date of celebration we will have your cake ready for 9am on the day you orderd it for, or at the prearranged time you requested.
5) wording a simple message like "Happy Birthday Mum" any more than this can take up a lot of space on the cake so is best written in a card.

Aubergine

This was a 6 slice gluten free chocolate cake.

Titanic

This was a 15 slice cake in the shape of the titanic.

Pokeball

This was a 10 slice chocolate cake in the shape of the Pokemon Ball.

Sofa princess

This was a 10 slice lemon cake with the birthday girl enjoying a slice of cake on a posh pink sofa.

Book

This was an 8 slice raspberry and elderflower cake in the shape of the birthday girls published book. Made using printed edible images of the real book. Check it out if you haven't already, it's a lovely book.

Bar

This was a 24 slice chocolate cake made to look like the Scillonian Club bar.

Lobster

This was a 12 slice chocolate cake in the shape of a lobster for two fishing loving friends.

Decorated skull

This was a 12 slice vanilla skull decorated in the same design as the birthday boy's decorated skull.

Pheasant

This was a 12 slice chocolate cake in the shape of a pheasant.

Amazon parcel

This was an 8" raspberry cake made to look like an amazon parcel for one of our local posties.

Shuttlecock

This was a 10 slice cake in the shape of a shuttlecock.

Record player

This was a 15 slice 8" square vanilla cake in the shape of a record player.

Number cake

A 12 slice chocolate cake in the shape of an 18. These are carved by hand so there is quite a bit of wastage. I always give offcuts to the customer in a bag though.

Llama

This was a double height 6" cake 12 slice vanilla cake made to look like a colourful llama.

Gin

This was a 6 slice gin bottle made to look like Westward Farm gin from St. Agnes.

Rocket

This was a 10 slice chocolate cake in the shape of a space rocket with the birthday boy and his brother as astronauts.

Clown

This was a 10 slice coffee cake made for my son Callum. He asked for this cake every year when he was growing up but I wasn't confident enough to make it. This was a cake from the Mary Ford book that inspired my whole passion for cake decorating.
